Assistant Manager - Corporate Reporting & MIS We are looking for a self-motivated individual with commitment, initiative, enthusiasm and willing to pursue a career in our dynamic Group Corporate Affairs Unit. Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and timely consolidated financial statement notes, disclosures and supporting workings for annual and interim financial reporting. • Coordinate and support the preparation of the Group Annual Report, including financial and non-financial disclosures, sector reviews, financial data verification and proofreading. • Prepare management information reports, financial analysis and ad-hoc reports to provide relevant and reliable information for management decision-making. • Prepare Board and management presentations, Excel workings and explanatory notes, and coordinate the timely circulation of meeting materials and Board information. • Prepare departmental budgets and support the compilation, coordination and consolidation of the Group Budget. • Support the operation and maintenance of the Group BPC system, including mappings, and perform SAP period openings/closures, payment initiations and foreign exchange rate updates accurately and on time. • Coordinate Group real estate valuations, departmental fixed-asset verification and other corporate/administrative activities assigned by management. Candidate Profile:
• Full professional qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA or CIMA, or is at the final level of one of these qualifications. • Holding a bachelor’s degree in management/ finance/accounting. • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and derive meaningful insights. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis, reconciliations and preparation of management reporting schedules. • A sound understanding of financial reporting, consolidation principles and financial statement disclosures. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working under tight reporting deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional reports, presentations and explanatory notes. • A proactive approach, strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
