Frequently asked

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about features, plan limits, and how the tools differ.

What makes ResuMinder different from other job-application tools?
Many job-search tools focus on one step, such as building a CV, checking it against a job description, filling forms, or tracking applications. ResuMinder connects those steps: create and manage CVs, discover roles matched to your experience, compare job-specific CV scores, fill supported application forms, track every opportunity you add, and prepare for interviews. The advantage is one workflow carrying your saved CV and profile context from finding a role through following up on it.
Who is ResuMinder best suited to?
ResuMinder is built for active job seekers applying across several roles, as well as high-volume applicants who still care about fit and quality — not volume for its own sake. It reduces repetitive administration while helping you compare CV fit, use your saved profile context in supported application forms, and stay in control of every submission. It is especially useful when you want job discovery, CV matching, autofill, tracking, and interview preparation to work together instead of moving information between separate tools.
How does ResuMinder compare more than one CV for a job?
ResuMinder scores each active CV against the job description and shows a 0–100 match score with matched and missing skills. Starter supports one active CV, Pro supports two, and Premium supports three, so side-by-side CV comparison begins with Pro.
Do I stay in control of which CV is used and when I submit?
Yes. ResuMinder ranks your active CVs so you can choose the strongest match and decide which one is marked as primary. The extension can use that primary CV where automatic attachment is supported, while LinkedIn and some upload flows require manual selection. You review the completed fields and control the final submission.
Which application forms can ResuMinder fill?
The extension has dedicated support for LinkedIn Easy Apply, Greenhouse, Lever, and Google Forms, plus best-effort support for standard web forms. It fills supported fields and can draft answers using your CV and profile context, but unusual controls and some file uploads may still need manual input. Review every application before submitting it.
Why use ResuMinder instead of managing applications in ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a general-purpose assistant for brainstorming, drafting, and editing. ResuMinder is purpose-built for the job-search workflow: it works from your saved CVs and profile to match roles, compare CV fit, fill supported application forms, and organise applications. That means less moving information between separate tools and more of your search managed in one place. You can still use both together.
Can I try ResuMinder before paying?
Eligible first-time web customers can try Starter, Pro, or Premium for seven days. A valid credit or debit card is required for verification, but it is not charged during the trial. Unless you cancel first, the selected paid plan begins automatically when the trial ends.
How does application tracking work?
Add an application manually, save one from ResuMinder's job discovery, or log a completed application from the browser extension. You can then manage it in Kanban or list view through stages including Saved, Started, Applied, Interviewing, Offered, Hired, and Rejected, with the details of each opportunity kept together.
