Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: Strong gift card and payments knowledge; experience with gift card processors or payment service providers is desirable but not mandatory.Knowledge of retail businesses, technology landscapes and how products can add value.Understanding of Agile delivery and modern engineering team practices.Knowledge of technical product development principles and methodologies.Experience delivering technology-led change in cross-functional environments.Strong judgement and the ability to make complex decisions, work with ambiguity and help drive clarity.Strong communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.Creative problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for delivering change through people and technology.Ability to anticipate risks and opportunities, respond quickly to escalations and support teams in finding solutions.Collaborative approach, with a focus on customer value, business outcomes and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Define and own the technical Gift Card roadmap, delivering high-impact initiatives that generate revenue and shape the future of Gift Cards across Argos.Develop product roadmaps and backlogs that support strategy and deliver end-to-end customer experiences aligned with business priorities.Own customer and business value for assigned products, securing support through the appropriate processes and technology teams.Lead end-to-end product delivery, ensuring activity is prioritised against agreed product goals and metrics.Maintain a realistic 90-day roadmap and prioritised, estimated financial-year backlog; communicate progress and proactively manage risks, issues and blockers.Collaborate with product teams, technology teams and third parties to launch features and maximise reuse across the division, business and brands.Evaluate potential partners and identify, assess and select suitable third-party technology and vendors.Support communication and resolution of live product incidents, coordinating and prioritising production issue responses.Translate business and technology strategy and market knowledge into a roadmap that prioritises value and enables future business agility.Communicate the product experience, benefits and long-term vision to development teams, stakeholders, partners and external audiences.Contribute to prioritisation decisions that maximise value and return on capital.Build collaborative relationships with engineering teams to solve customer and business problems.Build senior stakeholder advocacy and maintain awareness of product technology stacks and interfaces, supporting seamless experiences for customers and colleagues.Use data, research and shared insight to help teams focus on the greatest opportunities for customers and the business.Foster learning, empowerment, experimentation and collaboration; own key performance indicators and contribute to the Product Community of Practice.
