Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: Highly experienced engineering leader able to define technology strategy, establish best practices, and lead delivery of complex enterprise-wide initiatives.Architecture and team leadership experience designing and delivering M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI agents, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and enterprise automation solutions.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, M365 Groups, and Entra ID, including integration and authentication.Experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC), data loss prevention (DLP), environment management, governance controls, and secure operating models aligned with enterprise security and compliance requirements.Highly valued: experience with Microsoft Graph APIs, PowerShell, REST APIs, scripting languages, automation, integrations, and operational tooling.Highly valued: experience designing and supporting Azure service integrations and connecting Microsoft 365 solutions with enterprise and external platforms.Highly valued: experience with GitHub or GitLab, Visual Studio, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and DevOps practices.Success may be assessed against skills including risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and role-specific technical skills. Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and make technical decisions for collaboration, productivity, and AI-enabled solutions across the organisation.Define technology strategy, establish engineering best practices, and drive delivery of complex enterprise-wide initiatives.Translate strategic objectives into scalable technology solutions aligned with our engineering standards, security requirements, and operational objectives.Execute roadmaps, prioritise resources, develop team capability, and support adoption of emerging technologies across the Microsoft ecosystem.Build, deliver, and maintain high-quality infrastructure solutions that meet business needs for reliability, performance, availability, and usability.Identify appropriate technologies and solutions to meet business, optimisation, and resourcing requirements.Monitor infrastructure and system performance; identify and resolve issues, vulnerabilities, and outages, using data to reduce mean time to resolution.Develop and implement automated tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Implement secure configurations and measures to protect infrastructure, hardware, software, and data from threats and unauthorised access.Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and other partners to define infrastructure requirements and ensure solutions integrate with business objectives.Stay informed about technology trends and contribute to our technology communities and culture of technical excellence.Contribute to or set strategy, recommend change, plan resources and budgets, maintain policies and processes, deliver continuous improvement, and escalate policy or procedure breaches.Advise stakeholders and senior management, assess and mitigate risks, strengthen controls, and support our control and governance agenda.Build trusted stakeholder relationships, collaborate across work areas, and develop innovative solutions through analysis and research.Where applicable, define team roles and future needs, support employee performance and development, and lead specialists in line with strategic priorities.As an individual contributor, guide technical direction, lead collaborative assignments, and train, guide, and coach less experienced specialists.
