Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: We are looking for a Power BI Consultant with 2-4 years experience developing reporting and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.Understanding of data modelling principles and business intelligence concepts.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience working within Agile delivery teams.Collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.Understanding of data governance, security and reporting best practices.Technical skills in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, data modelling, Power BI Service, report and dashboard design, and data visualisation best practice.Desirable experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Power Platform, APIs and data integrations.Power BI Certification (PL-300) is desirable. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.Create and maintain data models to support reporting solutions.Develop DAX measures, calculated columns and Power Query transformations.Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects and Delivery Teams to deliver integrated solutions.Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of Power BI solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, performance and data quality issues.Apply data visualisation best practices to create engaging and accessible reports.Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric and Power BI capabilities.Contribute to successful project outcomes through effective technical delivery.Support a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.
