Salary: £42,500 - 70,500 per year
Requirements: We require an active Developed Vetting security clearance.We are looking for experienced software engineers with high-quality end-to-end product delivery experience across a variety of platforms.We value strong experience in C and C++ development across embedded and mobile platforms.We are looking for professional experience in designing and implementing complex solutions that leverage existing platform capabilities.We value comfort with platform APIs, development environments, and native debugging on one or more of Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android.We are looking for experience leading a small or midsize team of developers through the full project lifecycle, including requirements capture, design review, implementation, and assurance.We value commitment to code correctness and quality assurance through static analysis, code review, automated testing, and continuous integration.We expect the ability to lead technical projects. Responsibilities: We design new clean-slate products with complete autonomy over architecture.We add new capabilities to, or replace core components of, existing products.We build quick prototypes to confirm the feasibility of technical approaches and iterate until they meet requirements.We work hands-on in the day-to-day delivery of projects, usually alongside one or two colleagues.We unlock the potential of junior colleagues by encouraging idiomatic code, demonstrating engineering rigour, and sharing knowledge.We help drive our engineering processes to maintain code quality while balancing delivery timescales and client requirements.
