Salary: £30,500 - 50,500 per year
Requirements: As a minimum, we need you to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2.2 in your bachelors degree in Computing, Computer Science or an IT networks-related subject, Maths, or Physics.We are looking for people with experience or interest in a range of technologies including AWS, Azure, Linux, Docker, VMWare, Ansible, Foreman, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bamboo, HDFS, Kafka, Avro, C/C++, Java, JavaScript, networking (especially security), Qt, React, Redux, JEE, Git, BitBucket, Jira, and Jama.Many of our roles are subject to security and export control restrictions, and all applicants must as a minimum achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard.For many roles, higher levels of National Security Vetting may be required, typically involving 5 to 10 years of continuous residency in the UK depending on the vetting level. We are BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, and we are partnering with hackajob to hire for an Industrial Placement Digital Intelligence Software Engineer based in Yeovil. This is a 12-month placement with a start date of 21st June 2027 and an end date of 16th June 2028.
