Salary: £61,000 - 101,000 per year
Requirements: Experience in bespoke software delivery, working as part of an agile team for an external customer.Client-facing experience in a consulting environment.UK public sector experience.Extensive experience in a relevant commercial or technical environment.Broad business and technology understanding, with awareness of industry trends.Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge appropriately.Excellent user story creation skills.Strong business process modelling skills.Competence facilitating small groups to achieve focused outcomes.Ability to translate business requirements into cost-effective functional requirements.Strong commercial awareness and the ability to deliver within project constraints.Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.Ability to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.Proven team skills, including working in a multi-disciplinary team.Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.Desirable: experience of software development or a related problem-solving discipline.Desirable: experience working on client site delivering high-quality digital products.Desirable: experience mentoring and coaching team members and wider community.Desirable: experience mentoring customers on good story writing techniques.Desirable: agile and waterfall project experience across a range of methodologies and frameworks.Desirable: active participation in communities of interest such as online groups or speaking at conferences. Responsibilities: Ensure our team has a strong understanding of business needs so our customer solutions meet the needs of customers and users.Articulate problems and processes in ways understood by both business and technical stakeholders.Facilitate the analysis and design of cost-effective software solutions that impact users worldwide.Capture existing processes, design new processes, and present processes to achieve buy-in.Translate business requirements into cost-effective functional requirements.Work with scrum teams, customers, and stakeholders on backlog management, refinement, priorities, and value.Talk to end users to understand needs.Facilitate small groups including dev teams, product approval committees, and delivery managers.Support mentoring and coaching of team members and the wider community.Mentor customers on good story writing techniques.
