Job Title: Marketing Assistant Reference: 339 Department: CCMOG - Brand, Campaigns and Marketing Contract Type: Indefinite Hours: Full-time, 36.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) Closing Date: Sunday 11 October 2026, 11:59PM Full time Salary Range: £26,093 - £26,707 per annum About the Role We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the marketing activity of Warwick Conferences and Warwick Food Group. Working within our commercial marketing team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in marketing while gaining experience across two of the University's commercial business areas. Working alongside experienced marketing professionals, you'll help deliver campaigns that drive enquiries, bookings, footfall and customer engagement. As a Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of marketing activity. You'll assist with campaign administration, content creation, email marketing, website updates, social media activity and event support, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on schedule. You'll also help co-ordinate marketing projects, manage promotional materials, support campaign reporting and work closely with colleagues across both businesses to bring marketing plans to life. This is a varied role that offers exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines and provides a fantastic foundation for someone looking to develop a long-term career in marketing. About You You'll be organised, proactive and keen to learn, with a genuine interest in marketing and communications. Whether you're starting your marketing career or already have some relevant experience, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and supporting a variety of projects at the same time. We're looking for someone who: Has excellent organisational and administrative skills Has strong written and verbal communication skills Can produce clear, engaging written content Has good attention to detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders Takes a proactive approach and is willing to get stuck into new challenges Has an interest in marketing and digital communications Previous experience in a marketing, communications, hospitality or commercial environment would be beneficial.
