Position/Designation L3 – Assistant Manager – Java Developer Grade/Level L3 Location Akurdi HO Experience 2-5 years of experience skilled in Program Management or Operations Management with exposure to working for Banking/NBFC sector. Tech /M.C.A./M.C.S Reporting To DGM IT Summary Role Profile/Job Responsibilities We are looking for a Java Developer with 2–5 years of experience and exposure to the NBFC/BFSI domain , capable of developing and supporting integration-heavy systems . The ideal candidate should have strong Java development skills, hands-on experience with Linux and MySQL, and the ability to work with multiple external vendors through APIs and system integrations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and integration services Build and support API integrations with external vendors (KYC, Bureau, DigiLocker, Payment, etc.) Coordinate with vendor technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues Perform database operations including query writing, performance tuning, and data validation using MySQL Deploy and support applications in Linux environments Monitor application health and proactively identify issues Handle production issues, root cause analysis, and fixes Track tasks, bugs, and enhancements using JIRA Maintain source code using Git repositories following best practices Ensure secure and compliant integration as per NBFC standards Skill Sets Required Required Skills & Qualifications 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Java development Strong knowledge of Core Java , OOPs concepts, and exception handling Experience working in Linux/Unix environments Good understanding of MySQL (queries, joins, indexing, performance tuning) Hands-on experience with REST APIs and system integrations Experience using JIRA for issue and task tracking Working knowledge of Git or similar version control tools Understanding of NBFC/BFSI domain processes such as KYC, onboarding, disbursement, or credit checks Good to Have (Added Advantage) Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics, etc.) Exposure to Spring / Spring Boot Understanding of Microservices architecture Experience in handling vendor-managed applications Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in BFSI systems Key Attributes Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to work as an individual contributor Good communication skills for coordination with internal teams and vendors Proactive, ownership-driven approach Comfortable working in production and high-availability environments Certifications (Preferred) DevOps
