Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Worker plays a key role in supporting daily operations by managing inventory, preparing products for shipment, and accurately receiving and storing materials. This position works with an automated inventory system that functions like a large vending machine, as well as a stockroom environment, to ensure parts are correctly pulled, kitted, and delivered to the production floor in a timely and efficient manner.Responsibilities
• Perform a variety of warehouse tasks, including inventory management, stocking, picking, and order selection. • Prepare products and parts for shipment, ensuring accuracy and completeness of outgoing orders. • Scan incoming parts and materials, verify against order sheets and invoices, and print labels as required. • Utilize inventory systems, including an automated vending-style machine by entering bin numbers to retrieve or replace parts. • Manually pull parts from the stockroom to meet daily production requirements and assemble parts into kits for production use. • Deliver kitted parts and materials to the appropriate areas on the production floor in a timely manner. • Support lead production personnel by responding quickly to requests for parts and materials. • Receive and identify incoming raw and finished materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring correct counts and descriptions. • Count and sort materials to verify items against requisitions, purchase orders, and shop orders. • Enter accurate data into the ERP system to maintain up-to-date inventory and stock records. • Store stock in the correct locations within the warehouse and stockroom to maintain organization and accessibility. • Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements, receipts, and issues. • Follow all safety guidelines and wear required safety attire while working in the warehouse and on the production floor. Essential Skills
• At least 2 years of warehouse experience. • At least 2 years of experience working with inventory systems. • Experience with general warehouse operations such as stocking, picking, and order selection. • Ability to accurately handle inventory control tasks and maintain precise records. • Competence using RF scanners for inventory and order processing. • Ability to work with shipping and receiving processes in a warehouse environment. • Experience working in a stockroom environment. • Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory data entry. • Experience using automated inventory equipment or vending-style inventory systems. • Forklift experience in a warehouse setting. • Good problem-solving skills to resolve inventory and order discrepancies. • Ability to work efficiently on both first and second shifts as required. The position operates on either 1st shift (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) or 2nd shift (2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.), providing structured hours in a stable environment. The warehouse uses inventory systems, RF scanners, ERP software, and an automated vending-style inventory machine with drawers of parts. Safety attire is required, including safety shoes, long-sleeve shirt or t-shirt, and jeans, to ensure a safe and professional work setting. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Hartland, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
