Contract Lead TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for pulling, routing, and securing low-voltage cabling throughout new construction and expansion projects. You will install telecommunications cabling, including CAT5 and CAT6 systems, and assist with setting up cable pathways such as conduits, cable trays, and ceilings. Your duties will include terminating cables and supporting basic testing of connections while following project layouts, instructions, and safety standards. You will use hand and power tools to complete cable installation tasks and maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and excess materials. Working as part of a team, you will meet project deadlines and production goals.Responsibilities

Essential Skills
• 3-5 years of experience in low voltage cabling and cable pulling. • Experience with power tools, conduit, and telecommunications systems. • Proficiency in new build construction, mechanical troubleshooting, and blueprint reading. • Knowledge of cabling, conduit bending, fire alarm systems, wiring, and field service. • Ability to work with schematics and follow detailed instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in pulling low-voltage cables in commercial or construction environments. • Familiarity with CAT5 and CAT6 cabling is preferred. • Basic understanding of cable termination processes. • Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and working overhead. • Strong work ethic and reliability. Work EnvironmentYou will be working on an active construction site, where safety is a top priority. Safety violations will result in immediate termination. Contractors are required to have their own safety boots and vest. Essential tools for day one include a punch tool and snips. The role involves physically demanding tasks, and you must be comfortable working in such conditions. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
