Are you a self-starter, looking to kick start your career in physiotherapy? Elite Sports Injury is looking for a dedicated and motivated physiotherapy assistant to join our Transcona team. The ideal candidate will work under the direct supervision of a certified physiotherapist to deliver high-quality physical therapy care to patients, as well as assist with office administration. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to improving patients' well-being.
Available hours: M/W/F, days/evenings, approx: 12 - 24 hrs/week
*What you will do:*
* Demonstrate exercise routines and proper use of equipment for clients * Assist physiotherapist with patient treatment: apply heat and ice packs; removing modalities; * Perform reception duties, data entry, answer phone calls, and other administrative functions * Promote client safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment * Maintain inventory of physical therapy supplies (check stock, place orders, receive supplies) * Maintain client records and confidentiality of patient and company information
*Must haves:*
* Obtained or currently pursuing degree in kinesiology or diploma from a physiotherapy assistant program * 1+ years of experience in an office environment * Experience with teaching exercises with knowledge base and attention to technical detail * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients and staff * Detail oriented and self-motivated with strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills * Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team * Physical fitness

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 ? 24.0 per week
