Are you an experienced Speech & Language Therapist ready to step into a strategic leadership role? At The London Clinic, we're looking for an inspiring Lead Speech & Language Therapist to shape and elevate our service, driving clinical excellence, innovation, and collaboration across the organisation.

About the role
As our Clinical Lead, you will be the driving force behind Speech & Language Therapy services across the Clinic. Acting as both an expert clinician and influential leader, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, improving pathways, and embedding best practice across multidisciplinary teams. You'll work across a varied and complex caseload-including head & neck and critical care-while leading innovation, research, and service development within a forward-thinking therapies team.
Key responsibilities
Provide outstanding clinical leadership, supporting complex patient caseloads and acting as a specialist resource for Therapies, Nursing and wider MDT colleaguesDeliver expert patient care, using advanced clinical reasoning to assess, diagnose and develop personalised management plans for patients with complex and multi-layered needsLead service development and innovation, working collaboratively with Clinical Leads to continuously enhance patient pathways and outcomesDrive research and audit activity, contributing to the evidence base and integrating best practice into everyday clinical deliveryChampion education and capability-building, promoting learning and upskilling across multidisciplinary teamsShape strategic direction, contributing to operational policies and supporting the development of a strong rehabilitation ethos across the ClinicEnsure clinical governance and compliance, maintaining high standards in line with HCPC and RCSLT requirements What we're looking for We're seeking a confident and forward-thinking clinician with a real passion for leadership, innovation, and high-quality patient care. You will have: Significant experience as Speech & Language Therapist, ideally within acute or complex clinical settingsAdvanced clinical expertise, with proven ability to manage diverse and complex presentationsExperience in leadership, service development, audit and researchA collaborative approach, with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across the MDTA strong commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvementRegistration with the HCPC and a thorough understanding of RCSLT professional standards
