Step into real management responsibility. A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Winchester is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Assistant Manager to lead and review audits across a technically interesting client portfolio.
Winchester sits in one of the most commercially active parts of the South of England, with good links to Southampton and London, and the firm’s clients reflect the quality and diversity of that market. What’s the day to day of the role:
Running and reviewing audit assignments to a high technical standardTaking the lead on client relationships across your portfolioCoaching junior and semi senior members of the audit teamBacking up partners and managers on the more complex and technical assignmentsKeeping assignments on time, on budget and to standardSpotting opportunities to grow the firm’s audit portfolio Required skills and qualifications:
ACA or ACCA qualified with audit experience built up in practiceAt least four years’ experience within a UK Practice environmentA track record of leading audits and handling client relationships wellSound technical grounding in UK auditing standards and financial reportingProfessional with clients, well organised, and able to juggle competing priorities Benefits:
