Studying towards ACA or ACCA and looking for a firm that will back you? A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Southampton is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join a collaborative, well structured audit team.
You’d support senior staff across a varied portfolio, building technical knowledge and client confidence as you go. Southampton has an active commercial community and the firm’s clients reflect that. What’s the day to day of the role:
Assisting on audits from planning through to completion across a varied portfolioPutting together audit files and working papers under the eye of senior staffDealing with clients in a professional and confident wayHelping senior colleagues with more complex audit and assurance workKeeping on top of your own workload, deadlines and budgets Required skills and qualifications:
Part qualified ACA or ACCA, actively studying towards full qualificationAt least two years’ experience within a UK Practice environmentPractical audit experience gained in a practice settingWorking knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworksCareful with detail, well organised, and a positive team player Benefits:
