Our client, a leading Managed Services Provider is seeking a strong 2nd Line Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a 2nd Line Engineer to their team ,where you will join a knowledgeable and experienced team of Engineers, providing a high-level of technical support and project support to a range of clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 2nd Line role. You will preferably come from a Managed Services background, however those with the right experience from other industries will be considered.
This role is office-based and will require candidates to have access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a high-level of day-to-day support and project support to a range of clients, both remotely and on-site when required Act as an escalation point for other EngineersEnsure tickets and tasks are completed within correct SLAsProvide suitable advice to clients, ensuring customer service levels are maintained at all times Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tickets and clients whilst ensuring accuracy is maintained at all times Key Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 2nd Line role, ideally from an MSP environment although other industries will be strongly considered Excellent communicator, confident working with colleagues and clients of all levels Windows ServerVOIP knowledge, preferably 3CXGood networking capabilities – DNS / Routing / SwitchingOffice 365 Setup and Administration Group Policy administration VMware / Hyper-VExposure to Cisco / Draytek firewalls would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for a 2nd Line Engineer to join a leading MSP in their field.
