About this role
Our client, a leading business in the Financial Services industry is seeking a Software Tester with a minimum of 1 years’ experience to join their technical team at an exciting stage of growth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Due to a busy period our client is looking to add a Software Tester to their team, where you will support with ensuring the quality of software being developed meets the needs of the business, conducting regular testing to ensure standards are met.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience with SQL is advantageous, along with a recognized software testing qualification, although this is not essential.
Due to the location of the role candidates will be required to have access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
Read an interpret User Stories and Technical Design DocumentsExecute test cases and document defects, liaising with Developers when requiredCreate test plans and test casesWork closely and liaise with colleagues and departments across the businessAnswer any queries raised through UATSupport in manual testing across the businesses’ software rollouts Key Experience:
Minimum of 1 years’ testing experience Manual testing experience would be advantageous Strong analytical skills Experience working in an Agile environment Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing Any recognized software testing qualification or certification would be advantageous, such as ISTQBExcellent communicator, confident working with colleagues across the business Experience working with SQL would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for a Software Tester to join a thriving business who are leaders in their field.
