Salary: £27,000 - 67,000 per year
Requirements: Experience supporting and maintaining telemetry services and critical operational systems.Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and their role within operational technology environments.Ability to read and interpret SQL scripts for troubleshooting, diagnostics and issue resolution.Demonstrable experience leading, driving and embedding technical and organisational change.Good understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks.Knowledge of industry best practices and methodologies such as TOGAF and/or ITIL.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience mentoring and supporting colleagues to develop technical capability across a wider team.Proactive, organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Lead third-line support for telemetry infrastructure, systems and services, ensuring high availability, performance and compliance.Act as the subject matter expert for telemetry infrastructure and associated applications, including Sample Manager and in-house-developed telemetry systems.Manage and resolve complex telemetry and Operational Technology (OT) incidents, tracking issues through to successful resolution.Own OT and telemetry ticket queues, ensuring tickets are assigned, prioritised and resolved within agreed timescales.Drive first-line resolution where possible and lead investigations into complex or long-standing technical issues.Manage patching, maintenance and upgrades of OT and telemetry systems to keep platforms secure and supported.Identify and raise upgrade projects or schemes where significant system improvements or version changes are required.Support the planning, budgeting, resourcing and delivery of IT and OT capital projects.Ensure OT projects and system changes follow corporate change management and governance processes.Monitor telemetry and OT communications systems, proactively identifying faults, trends and potential service issues.Develop and maintain support plans, documentation and operational procedures for new systems and projects.Ensure support activities, incident responses and fault resolutions are accurately documented and accessible to the wider team.Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship to Telemetry Support Analysts, Telemetry Field Engineers, ICA Technicians and other team members.Contribute to operational and telemetry business plans, helping shape the future direction of telemetry services and infrastructure.Work with stakeholders across the business to ensure telemetry and OT systems continue to meet operational needs and service requirements. We are hiring a Senior Telemetry Support Analyst to join our IT team and support critical operational infrastructure. The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Leeds Valley Park with hybrid working of one to two days in the Leeds office each week. We offer a salary of £48,030–£60,037 depending on experience, an annual incentive bonus with a maximum opportunity of £1,000, a pension contribution of up to 12%, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and two wellness days, and life assurance cover of four times pensionable salary.
