Salary: £40,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements: Experience in some of the following areas: Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.Experience in some of the following areas: Windows Server administration.Experience in some of the following areas: Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).Experience in some of the following areas: Virtualisation technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.Experience in some of the following areas: Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and firewalls.Experience in some of the following areas: Endpoint management tools such as Intune.Experience in some of the following areas: Backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.Experience in some of the following areas: Cyber security best practices and infrastructure security.PowerShell scripting would be advantageous.Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or equivalent would be beneficial.Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900) or equivalent would be beneficial.CompTIA Network+ or Security+ would be beneficial.ITIL Foundation certification would be beneficial.Relevant degree, apprenticeship or professional IT qualification would be beneficial.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.A proactive and customer-focused approach.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.A willingness to learn and develop within a cloud-first environment. Responsibilities: Maintain, support and continually improve cloud and on-premise infrastructure.Monitor system performance, availability and security across the IT estate.Support Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud services.Assist with infrastructure projects, upgrades and cloud migrations.Manage and support servers, networks, storage and virtual environments.Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and problems.Implement security best practices and support vulnerability management activities.Maintain technical documentation, procedures and system records.Work with third-party suppliers and technology partners to deliver effective solutions.Contribute to business continuity, backup and disaster recovery processes.Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues across the organisation.
