Responsibilities: We install and maintain structured cabling systems.We work with both copper and fibre cabling, primarily pre-terminated solutions.We support multiple data centre environments and critical infrastructure facilities.We follow strict processes, procedures, and quality standards.We carry out cable routing, dressing, labelling, testing, and documentation.We work safely and professionally within live operational environments.We participate in an on-call rota as required. We are recruiting for an experienced Data Centre Engineer to join our team supporting multiple data centre environments across Leicester. This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, offered on an inside IR35 basis with a competitive rate. The working pattern is 4 on/4 off, with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts, and immediate starts are available for suitable candidates. We provide a comprehensive training period of approximately 2-3 months, and after successful completion there may be opportunities to take on additional shifts and increase earning potential.
