Job ID: 41868 | Location: Mexico City, Mexico City, Mexico | Work Model: Hybrid Lead Supply Chain and Customer Service Desk (CSD) operations across the Americas region, ensuring timely supply availability, service excellence, cost efficiency, and strategic alignment to drive BU Additives business growth. Responsibilities Lead regional order management and Supply Chain operations across 9 warehouses and 8 shipping origins in the Americas. Responsible for ensuring consistent Customer Service Desk across 16 sites in the Americas region. Oversees warehouse-related costs and ensures the efficient allocation of goods and resources. Actively contributes to the execution of the BU Additives strategy in the Americas region, including supporting production footprint extension and capacity development initiatives. Guarantee alignment of SCM and CSD regional organization, systems, and processes with global business strategies and standards. Ensure adequate personnel allocation to support business strategy execution. Balance customer demand, regional capacities, and inventory levels in accordance with business strategy. Establish and governs operational S&OE processes in line with best practices. Guarantee compliance with Clariant cost principles when managing logistics and warehouse external service providers. Steer Supply Network performance and leads logistics, warehouse, and transportation processes in collaboration with GBS and GPS. Oversees accurate master data maintenance in SAP and ensure proper documentation of SC processes for internal and external audit requirements. Leads the analysis of customer needs related to supply chain services through surveys, calls, and visits, and propose continuous improvements. Develops and proposes continuous improvement initiatives based on customer insights, translating feedback into actionable supply chain enhancements. Partners with regional Sales and global and Marketing, to align supply capabilities with growth ambitions. Leads the assessment and implementation of regional supply chain projects that support business development, new market entry, or footprint expansion Lead performance management, career development, and succession planning for the SCM Americas organization. Develop, retain, and foster talent within the SCM team, embedding a customer-centric mindset and culture. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Economic-Administrative Sciences, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent preferred. Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a local or regional Supply Chain Management role with significant leadership responsibilities. Proven experience in intercultural and cross-functional environments. Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate supply risks and define mitigation actions. Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, including talent development and succession planning. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different management levels. Customer-focused mindset with track record in improving service levels (OTIF) and managing net working capital. Proficiency in SAP (master data management and supply chain modules). Experience managing third-party logistics providers, warehouse operations, and freight processes. Fluency in English required; additional languages spoken in the Americas region are a plus.
