As an Safety Technician , you will act as a strategic partner to business areas, supporting the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Occupational Health and Safety programs. In this role, you will help strengthen a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements. You will work closely with internal teams across the Tetra Pak site as well as field service and project teams, providing guidance and support to promote safe behaviors, effective risk management, and operational excellence. Your contribution will be essential in protecting employees, contractors, and customers while driving continuous improvement in safety performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys balancing strategic and operational responsibilities, influencing stakeholders at different levels, and acting as a champion for safety culture. The role offers exposure to a wide range of operations, audits, projects, and multidisciplinary teams. This position is based in Monte Mor-SP, Brazil. Frequent travel (20% of the time) will be required to support field activities, customer sites, and operational teams. What you will do As a Safety Technician , you will: Drive the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) programs across site and field operations; Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented; Develop and maintain risk assessments, safety procedures, and work instructions while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements; Deliver safety training and awareness initiatives, partnering with managers and employees to promote safe behaviors and prevent workplace incidents; Support field teams, customer-site activities, contractor management processes, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the organization's safety culture. We believe you have A completed Technical Degree in Occupational Safety (Safety Technician certification) or equivalent qualification; Solid knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety practices, Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), and Microsoft Office applications; Intermediate English skills, including reading, writing, and verbal communication, and availability to travel frequently; Solid practical experience conducting safety training, inspections, incident investigations, and risk assessments in operational environments; Knowledge of data analysis tools such as advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms, combined with strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
