Assistant Headteacher
Salary: Leadership points 1 - 5 (£53,586 - £59,137)
Required for: January 2027
We wish to appoint a highly motivated, inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team, to provide strategic direction and development of teaching and learning across the school.
If appointed, you will be responsible and accountable for the following areas:
Year 1-3 Phase Leader (including assessment and transition)- Personalised Learning Leader/SENDCoo Early Helpo SENDo CLAo Boys / Girlso PPGo EAL / INAo Healthcare Plans (medical conditions)- DDSL- Subject Leader- Behaviour - Class teacherYou will ensure that the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning is maintained. You will also be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be a talented and innovative classroom practitioner and be able to demonstrate experience of strong leadership and management within a primary school with a commitment to high expectations and high standards.
The interview day will comprise of two stages:
(1) Lesson observation (further shortlisting will then take place)
(2) Formal interview and unseen presentation for successful candidates
