About this role
Southgate is a highly successful mixed comprehensive school (1400 on roll including 290 in Sixth Form), dedicated to helping every student flourish. We pride ourselves on our strong pastoral care, exceptional student community, and commitment to staff well-being. We are looking to appoint a calm, empathetic, and highly organised Medical Officer to lead our day-to-day medical room operations.
You will lead on whole school First Aid provision both in school and for school trips, acting as main First Aider and coordinating support from other First Aiders, have overview of those staff currently First Aid trained and those needing to be updated and support all students with medical needs that occur during the school day including emergencies.

We are five minutes away from Oakwood Tube Station on the Piccadilly Line and central London is only 20 minutes away. We have parking on site and are also very well-connected by local bus routes.
