Assists in maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Conducts weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Primary Responsibilities: • Performs a wide variety of repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry. Ensures proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials, and systems. Schedules, directs and ensures satisfactory completion of work performed by vendors. • Records data from main electrical panels on a quarterly basis. • Inspects various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment and sprinkler systems; records data from inspections. • Provides support with conference room set-up for meetings, caterings, and events. • Maintains positive interactions with associates at all levels of the organization in providing outstanding service and support. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in each of the following trades - carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
Previous maintenance or operations experience.
Strong communication skills to interact with internal customers and external vendors.
Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems to record and track data.
Ability to push, pull and lift 75 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Education: Associates Degree or 2-year technical diploma.
Preferred Experience: 2-4 years' experience maintenance in a warehouse setting.
