Deliver routine foot care interventions for appropriately assessed patients. Assist registered podiatrists in the assessment and management of patients attending podiatry clinics. Support the delivery of nail surgery procedures, including preparation of equipment, treatment environments and patients. Assist in the preparation and application of dressings under the direction of a registered podiatrist. Undertake post-procedure observations and report findings appropriately. Recognise and escalate concerns relating to infection, tissue viability, wound healing, circulation or deteriorating foot health. Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control across all clinical areas.Person SpecificationEssential CriteriaQualifications NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Healthcare Support, or equivalent experience. Good standard of literacy and numeracy.Experience Experience working within healthcare, social care, or community services. Experience providing direct patient care. Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.Knowledge and Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
