• Have proven experience in building maintenance, caretaking, trades, or facilities management. • Possess a practical working knowledge of health and safety regulations (such as COSHH, fire safety, and risk assessments). • Exhibit strong communication skills to coordinate shifts with the assistant caretaker and build positive relationships with external hirers and school staff. • Show flexibility and commitment to working varied hours, including evening and weekend shift patterns, to support community bookings and emergency out-of-hours calls.
