Nemours is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Cardiovascular Catheterization Laboratory in Wilmington, DE. This is a casual position. We recently completed a multi-phase hospital expansion that includes new inpatient rooms, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department. Additionally, Nemours Pediatrics allows us to reach more children across the region through community-based physician services and collaborative partnerships with health and hospital systems. The Cardiac Catheterization RN operates sophisticated equipment and provides patient care during Catheterization procedures. Assists the physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology studies and interpreting hemodynamic waveforms and electrocardiographic tracings. Assist cardiologists in device implantation procedures and surgeons in completion of surgical procedures in the Cath Lab. Assists in the operation and maintenance of fluoroscopic, digital image recording and electrophysiologic equipment. Assists in the development of policies and procedures. Collects data for quality control programs. Assists with inventory controls and maintenance of computer reports. Patient care is individualized to the age/developmental, psycho-social-cultural patient need. Position Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. • Minimum of 3 years experience in Pediatrics, Cath Lab and EP procedures • An American Heart Association BLS and PALS • ACLS preferred #LI-MR1
