Job Summary Join ADM as a Truck Logistics Manager Trainee and launch your career in transportation and logistics. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience managing transportation strategies, working with carrier partners, negotiating freight rates, and supporting the efficient movement of ADM products. You’ll develop the skills needed to make informed decisions and grow within ADM’s Transportation organization. Job Responsibilities
• Build and execute daily transportation plans.
• Develop relationships and communicate with partner carriers.
• Negotiate freight rates and support effective pricing strategies.
• Analyze transportation and commodity market conditions and their impact on the supply chain.
• Identify process improvements through root cause analysis.
• Develop and manage key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support transportation and business objectives.
• Make timely decisions in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in transportation, logistics, and supply chain operations.
• Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
