Video Editor / Videographer
Job Description - Overview: Hobby Lobby is seeking a Video Editor / Videographer to join our team! The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented team-player who has strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, a professional demeanor, and is flexible. The candidate will also be supportive of department and company objectives, be imaginative, have awareness of current trends in the film/video industry and a working knowledge of the latest video production software and hardware.

Responsibilities: • Position is responsible for all aspects of Hobby Lobby video production – employee training, social media advertisements, etc. Although this position favors editing, it also includes script and shotlist development, sound and lighting design, camera operation, and motion graphics/animation as required per project. • Individual will work closely with pre- and post-production coordinators, producers, set stylists, department heads, etc. to ensure highest quality deliverables in a timely manner. • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM to 5PM
Job Description - Requirements: Applicant needs to have the ability to establish priorities, work independently, and multi-task effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
Our ideal candidate has: • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - especially Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects • Extensive knowledge of camera equipment with proficiency in lighting and audio techniques • High-level organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Ability to adapt to Hobby Lobby video standards • Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver on tight timelines • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills • Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs constantly • Preferred but not required: • Proficiency in animation and motion graphics (Adobe, Blender, etc.) • Experience with DaVinci Resolve and other Blackmagic Design products
Certifications: • Valid Oklahoma Driver’s license in order to commute to location and transport equipment or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
