Job Description: Job Descriptions AWM1. Java Full-Stack Developer – Onboarding Engineering Role Type: Application Development Experience: 3–6 yearsRole Summary Design, develop, test, and enhance secure, scalable applications supporting the end-to-end onboarding of asset and wealth management clients and accounts. The role will work across Java-based services, React user interfaces, SQL data stores, and Unix-hosted processes while collaborating with product, operations, compliance, and engineering teams.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Java services, APIs, business rules, and workflow components for client and account onboarding. • Build responsive React interfaces for data capture, document handling, exception resolution, status tracking, and operational review. • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, data models, and reconciliation controls. • Develop Unix shell scripts for batch processing, file transfers, scheduling, monitoring, and operational automation. • Integrate onboarding applications with client master, document management, KYC/AML screening, identity verification, account opening, and downstream platforms. • Translate business, compliance, and operational requirements into technical designs and reusable software components. • Write secure, maintainable, and testable code; conduct peer reviews and resolve defects across the delivery lifecycle. • Build automated unit, integration, regression, and API tests and support user acceptance testing. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, release planning, production deployment, and post-release validation. • Improve application performance, auditability, resilience, data quality, and onboarding cycle time. Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on development experience in Java, including object-oriented design, collections, concurrency, exception handling, and performance tuning. • Experience with Spring or Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and common enterprise integration patterns. • Hands-on React experience, including JavaScript or TypeScript, component design, state management, API integration, and front-end testing. • Strong SQL skills covering complex queries, joins, stored procedures, indexing, execution-plan analysis, and data troubleshooting. • Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands, shell scripting, process management, log analysis, and batch scheduling. • Experience with Git, build tools, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and application monitoring. • Understanding of secure coding, authentication, authorization, encryption, audit logging, and protection of confidential client data. Domain and Functional Knowledge

• Understanding of asset and wealth management client onboarding, account opening, client and account data, document collection, approvals, and downstream activation. • Awareness of KYC, AML, sanctions screening, tax documentation, suitability, beneficial ownership, and regulatory recordkeeping concepts. • Ability to understand onboarding workflows, identify manual handoffs and control gaps, and support process automation. Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work across distributed teams. • Experience delivering software in a regulated financial-services environment. • Ability to balance business delivery, client experience, operational control, and technology risk. Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, messaging technologies, and automated deployment. • Exposure to workflow or business-process-management platforms and rules engines. • Knowledge of observability tools, accessibility standards, and performance engineering. 2. Application Support Engineer – Onboarding Engineering Department: Asset & Wealth Management – Onboarding Engineering Role Type: Production/Application Support Experience: 4–8 yearsRole Summary Provide reliable production support for business-critical client and account onboarding applications. The role will monitor and troubleshoot Java, React, SQL, and Unix components, restore services quickly, maintain data and workflow integrity, and drive permanent fixes and operational improvements in partnership with engineering and business teams.Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, onboarding workflows, APIs, batch jobs, interfaces, queues, databases, and operational dashboards. • Investigate and resolve incidents involving Java services, React interfaces, Unix processes, SQL data, file feeds, and external integrations. • Perform triage, impact assessment, stakeholder communication, escalation, service restoration, and post-incident review in line with SLAs. • Use log analysis, SQL queries, Unix commands, and diagnostic tools to identify failures and validate corrective actions. • Support onboarding exceptions such as incomplete data, failed validations, document-processing issues, duplicate records, stalled approvals, and downstream synchronization failures. • Conduct root-cause analysis, maintain known-error records, and partner with developers to implement permanent fixes. • Execute approved operational activities, including job restarts, controlled data corrections, configuration changes, deployment validation, and recovery procedures. • Maintain runbooks, support knowledge articles, monitoring thresholds, support metrics, and audit evidence. • Support releases, regression checks, disaster-recovery exercises, capacity reviews, and production-readiness assessments. • Identify recurring incidents and automate manual support activities through Unix scripting, SQL utilities, and monitoring improvements. • Provide rotational on-call or after-hours support for critical releases and priority incidents, as required. Required Technical Skills

• Strong troubleshooting experience with Java applications, services, APIs, stack traces, thread behavior, and application logs. • Ability to diagnose React and browser-side issues, API failures, authentication problems, and user-interface defects. • Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, reconciliation, controlled remediation, query tuning, and impact assessment. • Strong Unix/Linux knowledge, including shell scripting, process and resource monitoring, permissions, file systems, scheduling, and log analysis. • Experience with monitoring, alerting, log-aggregation, ticket-management, scheduling, and deployment tools. • Understanding of ITIL practices, incident, problem, change, release, and service-level management. • Knowledge of high-availability, disaster recovery, security controls, audit requirements, and production change discipline. Domain and Functional Knowledge

• Understanding of client onboarding stages, account opening, approvals, client and account data, documents, exceptions, and downstream activation. • Awareness of KYC, AML, sanctions screening, identity verification, tax and regulatory documentation, privacy, and audit controls. • Ability to translate technical incidents into business impact, including potential delays to onboarding, account readiness, and client service. Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline. • Strong analytical thinking, ownership, attention to detail, and calm execution during critical incidents. • Clear written and verbal communication with technology, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders. • Experience supporting regulated financial-services applications and handling sensitive client data. Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting microservices, cloud-hosted applications, containers, messaging platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. • Exposure to automated observability, synthetic monitoring, self-healing, and support analytics. • Knowledge of wealth management operations, onboarding controls, and global regulatory processes.
