Senior Buyer/Planner
Job Description: What are your contributions to the team?
• Handle core and warranty issues and programs • Initiate stock transport orders as required • Contact external vendor to determine if customer is enrolled in special programs, including warranty • Confirm external vendor is charging correct price per contract • Negotiate timely delivery of product to meet customer needs • Assist in training co-workers on applicable systems and supplier programs • May be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of an assigned program, process, or area • May be responsible for training and mentoring less-experienced employees on systems, processes, and supplier programs • May be responsible for coordinating with buyers and external vendors on contractual and supply issues • May be responsible for providing occasional leadership support and coverage for management
