Job Family Description
Direct Production (DP) covers the overall manufacturing operations of Nokia. Contains the direction and monitoring of business' operational processes concerning production, man and machinery performance, and maintenance, as well as related cost controls, quality, and packaging tasks.
• Lead daily manufacturing operations for assigned shifts, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives. • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, IT, Industrial Engineering, and other groups to resolve operational challenges and improve manufacturing performance. • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity and strengthen overall manufacturing performance • Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors, Training, and Production Control personnel, while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement • Develop cross-training and skill-building programs that enhance workforce flexibility and employee growth
• 7+ years of leadership experience in Semiconductor manufacturing, Wafer fabrication, Cleanroom operations, or a comparable advanced manufacturing environment. Experience with Photonic Integrated Circuits highly preferred • Experience leading a Greenfield or Brownfield semiconductor wafer fabrication startup • Project management • Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a proven track record of performing in a high-volume manufacturing environment
