Job Title: Technician (Temp Project) Job DescriptionJoin an experienced crew of electricians and low-voltage setup technicians on new construction jobsites, supporting the installation and wiring of electrical and low-voltage systems. You will work alongside tenured tradespeople, assisting with running wire and making connections while also completing assigned tasks independently. This temporary project role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in construction, farming, general labor, or mechanical work who is comfortable working with hand and power tools in an active jobsite environment.Responsibilities
• Assist electricians and low-voltage technicians with running wire and making electrical and low-voltage connections on new construction projects. • Perform assigned installation and setup tasks independently while adhering to jobsite safety standards and project requirements. • Use a variety of hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, hammers, channel locks, pry bars, tape measures, utility knives, levels, cordless drills, and impacts to complete daily work. • Support panel wiring and installation activities as directed by crew members. • Follow instructions from site leadership and coordinate effectively with the crew to ensure work is completed on time and to quality standards. • Maintain and organize personal tools and tool bag to ensure readiness and efficiency on the jobsite. • Observe and comply with all jobsite rules, including the use of required personal protective equipment such as steel-toed shoes, hard hat, high-visibility apparel, and safety glasses. • Contribute to general construction-related tasks as needed, such as basic carpentry, concrete-related work, or other labor activities that support project progress. Essential Skills
• At least two years of experience in construction, general labor, farming, or mechanical industries. • Hands-on experience with electrical work, panel wiring, and installation tasks in a construction or similar environment. • Ability to work safely and efficiently with common hand tools, including slotted and Phillips screwdrivers, linesman’s pliers, wire strippers, hammers, channel locks, flat pry bars, tape measures, utility knives, and torpedo levels. • Proficiency using power tools such as cordless drills and cordless impact drivers, including managing batteries and tool maintenance. • Capability to work both as part of a crew and independently, completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision. • Comfort working in active construction environments and around concrete, carpentry, and general trades work. • Strong work ethic and reliability, with the ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures. • Familiar in farming or farm work, bringing practical mechanical and hands-on skills to the role. • Experience in general construction trades, including carpentry and concrete work. • Familiarity with low-voltage systems and related installation tasks. • Ability to adapt to different types of physical work, including general labor and mechanical tasks. • No formal certifications required for this role. • No medical monitoring requirements for this project. The environment is fast-paced, hands-on, and safety-focused, with tasks performed both indoors and outdoors depending on project needs. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Kewaskum, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
