Job Title: PainterJob DescriptionThis role involves physically demanding work, including preparing, hanging, and packaging sheet metal parts. Candidates may start in the paint shop, with the opportunity to advance to a painter position if they possess prior painting experience. This position requires the ability to consistently lift 40 pounds and involves hanging metal pieces and placing them on a conveyor belt. Responsibilities • Prepare, hang, and package sheet metal parts. • Consistently lift 40 pounds. • Hang metal pieces and place them on a conveyor belt. • Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met. Essential Skills • Experience with power tools, plating, and coating. • Knowledge of painting and paint preparation techniques. • Proficiency with spray guns, industrial painting, and HVLP spray. • Experience in a paint booth, blasting, sandblasting, and powder coating. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. • Experience in an industrial or general labor environment. • Familiarity with sanding and powder coat painting. The position offers two shifts: Day Shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, and Night Shift from Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with a 10% differential for night shifts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of NORTH SALT LAKE, UT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
