Assembler Position Summary
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions and specifications. • Perform precision assembly using hand tools, power tools, and specialized assembly equipment. • Ensure product quality, accuracy, and compliance with manufacturing standards. • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and subassemblies. • Follow work instructions, assembly drawings, blueprints, and production documentation. • Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks accurately. • Install components, wiring, fasteners, and casings using bolts, rivets, soldering, and micro-welding techniques. • Clean parts, components, and finished assemblies using approved procedures and materials. • Perform quality inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards. • Identify and report defects, errors, or assembly issues. • Maintain production equipment, tools, and workstations. • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and manufacturing best practices. • Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives. Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED. • Manufacturing experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly. • Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, schematics, and assembly drawings. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Preferred Skills
• Experience with HVAC systems, painting, electrical testing, and mechanical assembly. • Familiarity with soldering and micro-welding processes. • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs occasionally. • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 10 lbs continuously throughout the shift. • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. • Strong visual, hearing, and communication abilities to support quality and safety requirements. Work Environment
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to varying temperatures and conditions. • May work in a facility that is not climate-controlled. • Fast-paced production setting with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. • Available shifts: • 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM • 3rd Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millington, MD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
