*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing automotive glass with precision and care. Prior dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.
*Duties*
* Remove and replace damaged or broken automotive glass using specialized hand tools and power tools * Inspect vehicles to determine the appropriate glass repair or replacement procedures * Ensure proper sealing and installation of glass to prevent leaks and wind noise * Use heavy lifting techniques to handle large or heavy glass components safely * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times * Assist with related automotive repair tasks as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge * Communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and timelines
*Qualifications*
* Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred * Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and other automotive equipment * Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks * Experience working with automotive glass installation or repair is a plus * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship * Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately * Prior mechanic experience is advantageous but not mandatory
