*Overview*
Mavora House is a friendly specialty retail store offering cigars, tobacco and vape products, lottery tickets, gifts, and accessories.
We are looking for a motivated, responsible, and enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team. You will provide friendly customer service, help customers find suitable products, and contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.
*Responsibilities*
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selections * Recommend suitable products based on customers? needs * Process cash, debit, credit card, and lottery transactions accurately * Check valid government-issued identification and strictly follow all age-restricted sales requirements * Answer customer questions and handle telephone inquiries professionally * Restock merchandise and maintain clean, organized displays * Receive deliveries and assist with inventory * Keep the sales floor and work areas clean and presentable * Complete opening or closing duties as scheduled * Follow all store policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
*Qualifications*
* Must be 19 years of age or older * Friendly, honest, dependable, and attentive to detail * Strong communication and customer service skills * Comfortable handling cash and using a point-of-sale system * Able to work independently and manage tasks during busy periods * Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required * Knowledge of cigars, tobacco, vape products, or lottery sales is an asset; training will be provided * Additional language skills are an asset * Must be available for flexible shifts, including some evenings and weekends
