About this role
Lumos Vision Care is a small private-practice optometric clinic in Forest Hill, serving the neighbourhood. We deliver full-scope eye care to the community, including speciality services such as dry eye treatments, myopia control, and speciality contact lens fittings. Our optical boutique features a diverse collection of frames for everyone while staying on the edge of fashion trends. We have a small tight-knit team and hope to find a long-term member to our family!
Applicants must have minimum of 1 year of experience in the optometric/optical field. Strong customer service and retail skills are highly valued. Training can be provided to learn technical skills. Wages will be determined by experience/credentials. We use eVision Care as our electronical medical records.
Full-time and/or Part-time position available.

- receptionist duties (phone calls/emails, booking appointments, direct billing insurance, cashing out)
- pre-testing equipment and patient case history
- excellent communication and multitasking skills
- eyewear frame styling and lens dispensing for glasses/sunglasses, adjustments/minor repairs for glasses
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16.0 ? 40.0 per week
