*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in acute care and pediatrics. As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients to improve their physical function and quality of life. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary clinical setting to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations. * Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations. * Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and overall function. * Educate patients and their families about treatment options and rehabilitation processes. * Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. * Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and physiotherapy practices.
*Requirements*
* Valid physiotherapy license or certification as required by Provincial regulations. * Experience in acute care settings preferred; pediatric experience is a plus. * Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and families. * Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. * Must be in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of Ontario * Must be in good standing with all insurance companies
