*Duties*
* Manage and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero * Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns accurately with bank statements * Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies, errors, or irregularities, and resolve them promptly * Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment documentation * Assist with payroll processing by verifying employee hours and ensuring accurate salary calculations * Support budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and preparing reports for management review * Reconcile accounts regularly to uphold the integrity of financial data and prepare reports for audits or management review
*Experience*
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a focus on small to medium-sized organizations * Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential * Demonstrated knowledge of bookkeeping processes including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation * Familiarity with payroll processing and related compliance requirements is preferred * Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail * Prior experience with account analysis, budgeting support, and financial reporting is highly desirable
