About the Opportunity
We are urgently hiring *reliable and professional Licensed Security Guards* to join our team in *Kelowna and Victoria, British Columbia*.
We are looking for individuals who are alert, dependable, customer-service oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and the public.
Multiple shifts and assignments may be available, including *day, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts*.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and patrol assigned areas to maintain safety and security. * Control access to buildings and restricted areas. * Conduct regular patrols and security checks. * Monitor CCTV and other security systems where required. * Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns. * Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident reports. * Enforce site-specific security procedures and client requirements. * Provide professional customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and the public. * Contact emergency services when required and follow established emergency procedures. * Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times. * Fire watch where required.
Requirements
* *Valid British Columbia Security Worker Licence* required. * Previous security experience is an asset. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong observation and situational-awareness skills. * Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations. * Reliable transportation is an asset, depending on the assignment. * Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, depending on the assignment. * Strong English communication skills. * Professional attitude and dependable work ethic.
