Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Inspect buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation. Determine type of treatment required. Prepare and spray chemical mixture on infested areas. Place and set traps to capture and remove animals. Clean out areas that harbour pests. Advise clients on how to prevent pest infestation. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Utilize hand and power tools. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence. Equipment and machinery experience: Animal traps. Electrical sprayers. Mechanical sprayer. Area of specialization: Pesticides. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Vehicle supplied by employer. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding.
