Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements . Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems. Repair roofing systems. Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools. Estimate costs and materials. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Repetitive tasks. Work under pressure. Personal suitability: Dependability. Reliability. Team player. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
