Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools. Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment. Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Carpenters.
