Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders. Test prototypes and production tools. Instruct apprentices. Verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Mould Maker Trade Certification. Metal mould-making experience: Injection moulds. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Personal suitability: Accurate.
