Education: Master's degree. Agricultural business and management, general. Food science. Work setting: Food processing plant. Tasks: Direct quality control inspections. Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques. Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work. Set up, operate and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding and curing rubber materials or rubber products. Plan and maintain production schedules. Develop and implement quality control programs. Supervision: 11-15 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : British retail consortium (BRC) food and safety Certification. Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification. Knowledge of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Cuisine specialties: Gluten-free. Type of industry experience: Food.
