About this role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Compile orders and instructions received from customers. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee operational logistics of the organization. Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization. Revise type and quantity of materials required sent for production, construction and other projects. Track and complete work orders. Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments. Perform routine clerical duties. Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll and other summaries. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Maintain work records and logs. Monitor personnel workloads and locations. Perform general office duties. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units. Compile worksheets and specifications of orders. Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects. Monitor production progress. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Project management. Provide customer service. Co-ordinate, assign and review work. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment. Communicate with ships, aircraft and other remote operations. Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders. Dispatch personnel as required by emergency situations. Follow-up on issues with work orders. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs and other expenses.
