About this role
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Operate machinery to process and bag, box or otherwise package food products. Perform corrective machine adjustments. Record production information. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities. Maintain shift log of production and other data. Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines. Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Support for newcomers and refugees: Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition. Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees . Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth. Support for Indigenous people: Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers . Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers .
